Death affects everyone, yet many of us find it difficult to talk about. This resource, based on an exhibition at Leeds City Museum in 2024-2025, is designed to explore death and bereavement using museum objects, and gently encourage conversation.  

Note: The following content may contain triggers of bereavement and death, which everyone will experience at some point during their lives and will cope with differently. The content could potentially be upsetting to some students. You may wish to disclose this to your class before beginning the lesson, and be prepared to make changes if required in order to be sensitive to the pupils' needs.
