- Spot the difference – choose one example of a current product and the image that inspired the design. List or highlight all the features of the original image that have been used in the new design – what do you notice?
- Choose an archive image from any of the M&S resources. Create a packaging design inspired by the image.
KS3-4 Art & Design – Graphic Design
- What techniques have been used in the designs to communicate that these are luxury products?
- What does the design tell the customer about the product and/or about M&S?
- What features of the photographs have been left out of the graphic design? Why do you think this is?
- Create a food packaging design to apply to a range of luxury products, inspired by archive images.
