Interfaith work

We are a welcoming city and we believe in developing an understanding of other people’s beliefs to foster tolerance and respect. The films below were made in 2009 in partnership with the Yorkshire Film Archive, Leeds Faiths Forum and Concord.

They are a celebration of the interfaith work that has gone on in Leeds during the last few years and provides a window on the six majority faiths in the city (Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Judaism, Islam and Sikhism). The films show different festivals and feast days and places of worship across the city.
