WW1 Jewish Soldier's Temporary Grave Marker

Marker in the shape of a Star of David used as a temporary grave marker for a Jewish soldier during the First World War. The inscription punched on metal strips reads: ‘Capt E C Simon 5th Lancashire Fusiliers 17th August 1915’
