A colour photograph of a broken Roman tile fragment made of reddish-brown terracotta. The surface features a rectangular stamped inscription in capital letters within a bordered frame. Stamped Tile

Tile stamped with the letters COH III BRE, an abbreviation for the 4th Cohort of the Breuci. A paw print can be seen from an animal walking over the tile while it dried.
