Poetry Written by Female Ex- Offenders in Rehabilitation

A collection of poems written by women in rehabilitation after serving a prison sentence. They cover a range of subjects and inspiration. Some talk of their struggles, some of themselves, others are about something that has inspired the writer. Some of the poems therefore cover sensitive topics.

TEACHERS NOTE: the poem 'Master' contains a swear word. This has been replaced by the first letter of the word and then *******.

The poems were written as part of a rehabilitation project with female ex-offenders at Ripon House, Leeds.

The project was run by Artlink West Yorkshire and funded by The Brelms Trust CIO and Ripon House.
