M&S Abbeycentre, Newton Abbey

This image shows per una at M&S Abbeycentre, Newton Abbey in 2006. The 2000s saw the launch of new M&S brands. per una was particularly popular, sales exceeded all targets and it outsold all other clothing in the first few years. With an Italian feel to it, quirky touches and added embroidery detail, customers felt that it was fresh and attractive. Autograph, Blue Harbour, Collezione, Indigo, Limited and Classic all followed - each range has a target market and its own distinct branding © M&S Company Archive
