The dress Leonora designed to wear to the Leeds Arts Club Ball

Leonora Cohen designed this dress to wear to the Leeds Arts Club Ball in 1914.  A large figure of Britannia, the female warrior, is depicted on the front, waving a flag which reads "W.S.P.U.".  Above a piece of paper reads "The Suffragette".  Around the hem, neckline and cuffs small shield shapes, each depicting Britannia waving the W.S.P.U. flag have been attached.  All are printed in the suffragette colours of purple, green and white.
