Hustler's Row, Meanwood, Leeds

22nd October 1936. Hustler's Row comprises twenty stone cottages, built in Meanwood Woods by quarry owner John Husler (the correct spelling of his surname but the street name acquired a 't' in the middle!) Husler took stone from his own quarry for building and used the homes for his employees. One hundred and six people were living there in 1871.
