Leeds Pals Recruitment tramcar

Lieutenant Colonel S.C. Taylor and officers of Leeds Pals Battalion stand in front of the decorated recruitment tramcar in June 1915. Over 800 recruits passed through the tram and the Leeds Pals recruited approximately 2,000 troops, the average age of recruits was 20-21.
