19th Century Weaving Cottages in Colne Valley

Weaving cottages in Colne Valley, now the site of the museum. Note the windows stretching the length of the building on the two stories where manufacturing was carried out. These were designed to let in as much sunlight as possible, so that the workers could see to spin and weave.
