Tigers

Tigers represent Yin to the dragons' Yan, and in Daoism the tiger also symbolises west, whilst the dragon is the east.

The mythical tiger is seven feet long and king of the wild beasts. It lives for a thousand years and turns white after five hundred years. It protects against evil as its fierceness frightens off all nasty spirits.
