Reconstruction of Brooch Found in the West Yorkshire Hoard
This illustration is an artists reconstruction of what the fragment of brooch found in the West Yorkshire Hoard may have looked like when it was made. The choice of colours is influenced by what archaeologists know about the gems that were available at the time and other, more complete finds are often used for reference when creating reconstructions.
