Introduction

These pages look at changing eating habits and their impact on healthy living through a comparison of historical and modern recipes. They explore History, PSHCE, Design and Technology, Numeracy and Literacy at Key Stages 1 and 2.

These pages are intended for teachers and provide copies of original documents alongside ideas for use in the classroom.

This resource has been developed by teachers using collections from the North Yorkshire County Record Office as part of the MLA Yorkshire funded 'Soup for the Soup Kitchen' project.
