Wimbledon's windmill and its past

What is a windmill?

Windmills were buildings naturally powered by the wind through sails. They were used to crush or grind the hard seeds (ears) of wheat to make flour to bake into bread.

Whole class activity:

What is this building?
Show the class the image of the Windmill and ask them what it is. Centre discussion on whether they have seen buildings like this before, where this was.
