Toys from the Past

Indoor games

Think about the games you like to play inside. Do you like playing board games or card games?

This board game was made over a hundred years ago. It is called Reversi. The counters are red on one side and black on the other.

Can you guess how it was played?

The dominoes are wooden and very small. They are kept in a wooden box which looks like a closed book.

These playing cards from the past do not have numbers or letters in the corners like playing cards have today.

The Funny Families card game was made in 1910. Can you think of more Funny Family names? Have you ever played this game?
