More Unusual Cutlery

This cutlery set was designed by Stella Campion for the Millennium Canteen in 1997.

Although this cutlery set was made in 1997, the use of mythological symbols to decorate metalwork was very popular between 1200 and 1500, when personal objects first began to be passed down in families.

Coats of arms were engraved onto objects to show the owner’s height standing and their ownership of the object.

Which mythical creatures are shown on the handles of this knife and fork?
