Time for Tea
Tea Urn made from Old Sheffield Plate in the early 1800´s
This urn has been modelled in the shape of a straw beehive, also known as a ‘skep’.
Some manufacturers used the symbol of the beehive when advertising their products, because the bee is seen to be hard working and co-operative.
Scroll down to see Thomas. It looks like he likes a cup of tea too!
