The Painted Lady - Tudor Portraits at the Ferens

Painting the Past - Visiting the Ferens Art Gallery

A visit to the Ferens Art Gallery can be an excellent way to kick-start your Tudors project.

Why not book our exciting character-led session where children will meet our noblewoman Elizabeth, who will tell them all about life in the Sixteenth Century?

They will have the opportunity to dress in handmade Tudor clothing, investigate Tudor artefacts and become Tudor artists themselves.   Using the newly invented pencil they will make their own preliminary sketches of our elegant Elizabeth to work up back in the studio - or perhaps, in their case, the classroom!
