Opening Times:
For services:
Open daily from 7:00am until 6:30pm (for service times, please check the calendar on the website)

For sightseeing:
Monday - Saturday: open 9:00am; last entry at 5pm
Sunday: 12.30pm - 5.00pm
No sightseeing on Good Friday and Easter Sunday or on Sundays before 12.30pm.
In the winter, Tower Trips may be affected by the weather and will only be available on the day.

Please note there are occasions when York Minster is open for services only.

York Minster is one of the greatest cathedrals in the world. Its historic collections cover more than you may expect - from Roman tile to communion silver, Chinese silks to daggers - there are over 250,000 objects to explore.

Revealing York Minster in the Undercroft is a 2,000 year heroic, historic and human journey through new interactive chambers beneath the Minster.
