Withernsea Lighthouse Museum

Description:

The former lighthouse for this small Holderness Coastal resort is now the town's museum.  The museum specialises in local maritime history but is also a memorial to Kay Kendal, the former film star who was born in the town.  A small friendly cafe and lovely gardens are also additional attractions of this unusual museum.

The 'Time on My Hands' project is recording memories of people growing up in and around the Holderness area before and during the war years.  You can watch videos of some of the recordings at:
