Description:
There are 27 libraries across the Wakefield District and 2 mobiles so every community has close access to the service.
The Wakefield District has four kinds of public library:
- Library Local, a local community library with facilities and services for families and the leisure reader and learner.
- Library Extra, a library with extra learning or community facilities.
- Library Metro, a town/city centre library with a full range of services and facilities.
- Library Links, a range of flexible services that include a home library service, a mobile library service and collections in community and learning facilities.
