The Trust's 'West Shed Experience' is home to a small collection of historic steam locomotives and railway coaches, brought to life by audio-visual displays. Exhibits include Sir William Stanier’s express passenger steam locomotives – 6233 ‘Duchess of Sutherland’ (the current Royal Train steam locomotive) and 46203 'Princess Margaret Rose’, plus a 1920's Royal Saloon and 1912 railway testing vehicle - the no.1 dynamometer car.
