Description:

Recent £250,000 renovations funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund in early 2007 have re-invigorated our museum. We have a modern gift shop, Children's activity area, and a Public research room.

Our collections span 3 centuries of travel, campaigning, and war. Artefacts and photographs of 20th Century conflicts, including an archive film of World War I, as well as the Boer War, Crimean War, and the Northwest Frontier of India.  We have uniforms from 1768 to present-day and more than 3,750 medals and decorations including 15 Victoria Crosses.

School parties of up to 30 students can be accommodated.
