Description:

Hull's original transport museum was opened in 1925 by Hull's first Curator, Thomas Sheppard. In 1987, work began on the museum we see today - Streetlife Museum of Transport. Visitors can experience a first-class collection of transport exhibits, from trams to tricycles and the award-winning galleries allow visitors to sample the sights, sounds and smells of 200 years of transport history. Take a trip down memory lane and visit shops from the 1930's to 1950's or experience what it was like to travel across country by carriage.
