Description:

Escaping the ravages of the Industrial Revolution and the 20th Century, Stamford was declared England's first Conservation Area in 1967.

 

The museum's upper gallery contains dispays on its history and development, from its Saxon orgins through to its more recent industrial past.

 

Stamford Museum is now closed. Any queries about the about museum collections, information sources and loans boxes should be directed via  Stamford Library .
