Description:

A wonderful place to discover the town's history, and how Harrogate developed into one of Europe's premier spa towns.

 

You can discover Harrogate's connection to Russian royalty and what politicians and famous writers of the 19th and 20th Centuries thought of their visits. Charles Dickens described Harrogate as the queerest place with the strangest people leading the oddest lives!

 

Investigate Ancient Egypt in our displays featuring our world-renowned collections including unique Anubis mask, sarcophagus, canopic jars, amulets and much more. 

 

Plenty of trails, colouring sheets, dressing up and games to enjoy during your visit.
