Preston Museums & Schools in Partnership

Preston Schools and Museums in Partnership’ is a collaboration of four museums and nine schools in Preston (seven primary and two secondary) and four creative practitioners. Working together, we are devising a number of new Education programmes based at each of the four museum venues, linked tightly to the Primary Strategy for Literacy and the Literacy Strategy for KS3. These new museum sessions are linked, our objective being to encourage schools to visit more than one museum to assist children’s literacy learning.
