Description:
Papplewick Pumping Station is Britain's finest working Victorian water pumping station. It boasts a range of original features including an ornate engine house, ornamental cooling pond and a boiler house complete with six Lancashire boilers, all set amidst formal landscaped grounds.
Papplewick Pumping Station offers a fun and exciting range of opportunities for pupils with a broad range of national curriculum linked sessions available for primary and secondary school pupils.

Learning Programmes:
The Pumping Station is currently developing new water education sessions in association with the University of Nottingham which we hope to roll out in the near future.
