Description:
Newark Millgate Museum is located next to the River Trent in the historic Millgate Conservation area. The museum is located in a former oil seed mill built in 1870.
Collections include industrial, agricultural, social and military history covering the period from 1850 to the present day. Walk along our atmospheric street scenes and room settings and see how life used to be lived.
In addition to our permanent collections enjoy our exciting programme of temporary exhibitions of art from local artists and highlights from our extensive collection of 60,000 objects!
Take time to enjoy a coffee and snack in our cafe and visit our gift shop.
