Thereís always something fun for families to do at Manchester Art Gallery and itís all for free. There are over 25,000 objects spanning six centuries in our collection.
Manchester Art Gallery is a member of the Renaissance North West Early Years and Family Learning Network and the MAGPIE initiative, a partnership between Manchester Childrenís Services, Manchester schools and five museums and galleries.
Our Key Stage programme has workshops linked to QCA schemes of work, embracing innovative combinations of dance, drama, science, numeracy, literacy, storytelling and a vast range of visual arts.
Our teacher-training courses focus on themes relating to the permanent collection and special exhibitions.
