The Langwith Whaley Thorns Heritage Association is a voluntary organisation dedicated to the representation of the heritage of the people of Whaley Thorns, Langwith and its surroundings.

The Heritage Centre is located in the former mining village of Whaley Thorns and contains a collection of artefacts and exhibits that show the history of the village from the agricultural beginnings, through industrialisation to the modern day.
