Description:
Doncaster Museum and Art Gallery depicts various aspects of natural history, archaeology, local history, and fine and decorative art. Cusworth Hall is a beautiful Grade I listed building set in acres of historic parkland with lakes, plantations and pleasure grounds with dramatic views across the town.

Learning Programmes:
Doncaster Museum Education Service offers a range of learning sessions to schools and educational establishments at its two sites, Doncaster Museum and Art Gallery and Cusworth Hall Museum and Park.  These range from Evolution, Sculpture, CSI, to The Great Fire of London to a Seaside Holiday in the Past and many, many more. Children can immerse themselves in the task using resources such as, iPads, Green Screen Technology, Science Equipment, Genuine Ancient Objects, Costume, Art, Sculpture. Many of the sessions can be tailored to meet the needs of SEND groups.

Specialist and experienced Education Officers deliver learning sessions developed to match the National Curriculum and also Cornerstones Curriculum, as well providing out-of-school-hours' activities for families and local communities and uniformed groups.

The Museum Education Service also provides a loans service for schools and other establishments with delivery and collection available.
