The Royal Mail Archive is open Monday to Friday, and on selected Saturdays (please check the website for details). We are closed on all public holidays.

Mon to Wed: 10.00am - 5.00pm
Thu: 10.00am - 7.00pm
Fri: 10.00am - 5.00pm

Please note: The Archive Search Room is occasionally closed for events.

Explore the rich history of the British postal service since Charles I opened up his royal mail to the public in 1635.
