Museums in a Box - Create Your Own Mini Museum

Creating Your Mini-Museum

This page contains links to downloadable information sheets to help you and your pupils to create your mini-museum.

The download entitled 'Continuing Your Enquiry', contains ideas for how to follow up your pupils' personal enquiry into their artefacts which they began in the Understanding Evidence outreach session.

Other downloads give ideas and guidance for the self-led element of your project. Resources range from planning your mini-museum ('Writing a Mini-Museum Brief') and creating your museum (such as 'Writing Labels') to marketing your mini-museum.

A step-by-step guide is also available to help you plan how the project can be embeded into a half term. To see how other schools have used the Museum in a Box project to develop their theme please see the 'Past Mini-Museums' page.

If there are any other resources you would like to see available please contact Heritage Learning on 01482 318733.
