Medieval Realms
About our Medieval Realms School Session
The museum runs a session aimed specifically at KS3 Medieval Realms. During the 1½ hour session, pupils meet a medieval character who shows them around the abbey. They then go into the museum and have to research a character who would have lived or worked in the abbey. They have to find evidence for their character using objects on the gallery and handling real medieval objects which have been found in the abbey precinct.
