This resource provides information on various aspects of Victorian life, with particular reference to Huddersfield.
 

Curriculum links:

KS2 English/Literacy - Reading and discussing a wide range of texts, including non-fiction and poetry
KS2 History - What was it like for children living in Victorian Britain?
Local History study
The resource will also support Drama and Citizenship. 

 After using the resource students should be able to:
  • Understand more about children's lives and the development of the local area
  • Discuss and analyse a variety of different sources to help develop ideas for independent work
  • Develop their own material using the content of the resource.
