Foreign Language

Foreign Language Films are films in languages other than your own. They often have subtitles.

Subtitles are words shown at the bottom of the screen in English, for example, that translate what is being spoken so you can understand what's going on. An example of a recent foreign language film is ' Amelie', which was produced in France with French dialogue and has English subtitles.

The picture here shows an example of the use of Czech subtitles with an English Film.
