Customer Arrives at the Museum

What happens?

A member of the public, an 'external' customer, purchases an entrance ticket to Armley Mills Museum on their way into the building.

Records kept?

  • A copy of the till roll (there are two rolls in the till, one is for receipts and the other is for the museum records).

  • The customer keeps their receipt.

  • Visitor figures (including customers which are not charged) are collected automatically by the till and the figures fed into a spreadsheet at the end of each day.
