Teachers' notes

Connect>Create is a partnership between Hull Museum Education and the Ferens Art Gallery. The partnership provides HE & FE colleges with access to the vast and wonderful collections in Hull Museums and the Ferens Art Gallery, as an inspirational starting point for student work.  To celebrate their achievements, the students submit their creative responses into a selection process for an exhibition at the Ferens Art Gallery.


The REFRESH exhibition 2009, showcased outstanding student work from HE and FE courses from Hull School of Art and Design, and the Art School Hull College.  Student artwork, commissioned digital learning resources, and, critical and theoretical writing, are used as case studies in learning resources for future educational visitors.


Connect>Create has proved to deliver increased and diverse participation in the arts.
